CognifyEd Consulting specialises in metacognitive coaching, inclusive education, curriculum design, and institutional capacity building — grounded in the principles of equity, inclusivity, evidence, and collaboration.
Every learner deserves access to high-quality, contextually relevant education. Our programmes are designed to remove barriers and create meaningful learning opportunities for all.
We affirm the value of neurodivergent learners and diverse cognitive profiles. Our consulting is built on the belief that difference is a strength to be understood, not a deficit to be corrected.
All services are grounded in psychological and pedagogical research. We translate peer-reviewed science into practical, actionable strategies that genuinely improve learning outcomes.
We work alongside educators, families, and institutions — not above them. Our best work happens when we build solutions together, tailored to each context's specific needs and realities.
Our flagship workshops equip educators and learners with metacognitive tools — helping students move from passive recipients of information to active, self-regulating thinkers capable of independent academic growth.
Specialist consultation for families and schools supporting learners with diverse cognitive profiles — from assessment interpretation to practical classroom strategies.
Co-curricular and instructional frameworks designed to embed higher-order thinking, independent learning, and metacognitive awareness — whether for schools or homeschooling families.
Mary Anne's workshop changed how our teachers think about feedback. For the first time, our students are asking themselves the right questions — not waiting to be told the answers.
As a parent of a neurodivergent child, I finally felt understood. CognifyEd gave us a language, a framework, and practical tools that made an immediate difference at home and at school.

Where psychology and pedagogy meet — in service of every learner.
At CognifyEd Consulting, we work closely with schools and families to bridge the gap between educational theory and real-world classroom and home learning. Our mission is straightforward: to equip teachers and learners with the tools they need to succeed — not just in examinations, but in life.
Mary Anne Aluoch is a multilingual Educational Psychologist with over eight years of experience, accredited by the British Psychological Society and a member of Special Education Professionals Kenya. Her work across Kenya and internationally spans roles as a Special Education Needs Teacher, education researcher, and programme evaluator — experiences that directly informed the founding of CognifyEd Consulting in response to a growing need for locally relevant, evidence-based training and coaching.
In a system where one-size-fits-all approaches often fall short, CognifyEd's integration of psychology and pedagogy promotes independent, self-regulated learning — skills that are increasingly critical in today's rapidly changing, technology-driven world. Whether through teacher training programmes or student coaching, every CognifyEd intervention focuses on practical strategies that improve engagement, motivation, confidence, and academic outcomes.
We believe every learner — and every teacher — deserves to feel empowered, equipped, and supported.
To be the catalyst for a transformed African education landscape, where evidence-based education policy translates into contextualised action — building equitable and inclusive learning systems for all.
To empower learners and educators with the skills necessary to thrive in an era defined by rapid digitisation and Artificial Intelligence, through the integration of evidence-based psychological and pedagogical practices tailored to African education contexts.
The integration of psychological science and instructional practice is the core of everything we do. Understanding how the mind learns is inseparable from understanding how to teach.
Effective education consulting cannot be imported wholesale from another continent's classroom. Our work is grounded in the realities of African education contexts — its strengths, its constraints, and its learners.
